AGGIORNAMENTO SUI CAROSELLI

Quest'anno sto avendo difficoltà a scattare foto sui miei balconi perché ho veramente esagerato con le piante da coltivare, soprattutto con i pomodori. Gli spazi sono ristretti e in queste condizioni è dura fare delle foto decenti.

...e si tratta della seconda pianta a partire da destra. Ero convinto di aver seminato un Carosello Mezzo Lungo di Polignano e invece, per uno scambio di bustine, è venuto fuori un Cetriolo Mezzo Lungo di Polignano. Poco male, la mia famiglia preferisce il secondo perché il Carosello Mezzo Lungo di Polignano ha una polpa piuttosto secca. E poi il cetriolo sembra essere molto precoce.

Le piante stanno avendo uno sviluppo soddisfacente. I frutti stentano un po' a ingrossarsi, ma credo che sia normale in questa fase. Quando avrò cimato lo stelo principale, le piante non saranno più tanto concentrate sul loro sviluppo, ma cominceranno a pensare ai frutti.

UPDATE ABOUT CAROSELLOS

This year I've been trouble in taking pictures on my balconies because I've really overdone it with the amount of plants to cultivate, above all tomatoes. The space is limited and this isn't the best of condition to take decent pictures.

Among my carosellos there's an intruder: it's the second vine from right on pic 2. I was sure I'd sown a Carosello Half Long Polignano I'd already cultivated in 2012 (pic 4), but it turned out to be a Cucumber Half Long Polignano (pic 3). I mixed up the seeds for sure. It doesn't a matter because the members of my family like the latter better: the Carosello Half Long Polignano has a rather dry pulp they don't like. Moreover, the cucumber seems to be very precocious.

The vines have been thriving in a very satisfying way. The fruits are still tiny because the vines are more concentrated in their own growth. After heading down the main stem, the fruits will start getting bigger soon.
