Anche quest'anno le afidi si stanno impegnando nel farmi perdere la pazienza: hanno già distrutto tutta la rucola che ero riuscito faticosamente a far svernare. Così ho pensato di creare un insetticida naturale, biologico e puzzolente usando odori che gli insetti nocivi non amano: peperoncino, aglio, foglie di basilico e le femminelle delle piante di pomodoro. Quindi lascio macerare il tutto in acqua per qualche giorno e poi filtro il liquido. Funzionerà? Come disse quel tale che voleva ammazzare la suocera: "Tentar non nuoce."

A NATURAL BUG SPRAY

RispondiEliminaMy area in California is full of Aphidius colemani wasps. They lay their eggs in the aphids. Over time, the wasps hatch out and lay eggs in more aphids. Whenever I harvest anything from the garden that has the mummified aphids on it, I put them back in the garden to hatch.
