La settimana prossima seminerò i caroselli con qualche novità. Piacevole, devo dire. Nel frattempo mi diletto con i pomodori:

Ciao Giuseppe,i miei sono appena spuntati ma abbiamo tempo, come vanno le cose là da te?
RispondiEliminaCiao Marino,
EliminaIl clima è l'ideale per semine anticipate. Quanto al resto, lasciamo perdere...

Ciao Giuseppe,
RispondiEliminaI am looking for a tomato variety that does well in containers and produces no matter what mistakes I make. Honestly I am a lousy tomato grower. The majority of the time, the varieties I grow succumb to foliar disease. Only recently did I learn that I was importing the disease by purchasing plants from stores that source their plants from Florida - where all the tomato diseases reside.
Fortunately, Taxi is the only variety I have found that has never had problems (if grown away from other tomato varieties). I am still looking for a red variety that has problem-free vines which sandwich-sized tomatoes.
Dear Jay,
RispondiEliminaI tried to grow your Taxi yellow last year, but for the first time since I have been a gardener, the tomato season was a disaster. I didn't eat a single tomato!!!
As regards a sandwich-sized tomato, I'm cultivated a tomato from Sicily. If I'm successful, I'll save seeds and send you some seeds.

Sorry Jay,
RispondiEliminaThere a mistake in my previous message: not "I'm cultivated", but "I'm cultivating".
